Credit Union One was chartered in July, 1964 as the Fond du Lac Machine Employees Credit Union, serving the    employees of Giddings & Lewis, Inc. The name was changed to G&L Employees Credit Union in 1967 and the credit union continued to serve the employees of Giddings & Lewis and their families. In July, 2005 our charter was expanded to include all persons living or working in Fond du Lac County and our name was changed to Credit Union One to better align the credit union name to it's membership.
