Credit Union One was chartered in July, 1964 as the Fond du Lac Machine Employees Credit Union, serving the employees of Giddings & Lewis, Inc. The name was changed to G&L Employees Credit Union in 1967 and the credit union continued to serve the employees of Giddings & Lewis and their families. In July, 2005 our charter was expanded to include all persons living or working in Fond du Lac County and our name was changed to Credit Union One to better align the credit union name to it's membership. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, Credit Union One is owned by it's members. We are proud to provide our members a wide variety of financial services, offering personal services with competitive rates and low costs. Your deposits are federally insured up to $100,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government through the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund which is administered by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). |
